FHS’s First VEP Event Look

With the school year officially in full swing and the chance for in person meetings, our FHS VEP (Volunteer Event Program) students successfully created and implemented their very first civic engagement event of the school year! On Thursday Oct. 7th, 26 FHS students participated in our Period Product Packaging event. This event was a labor of love that started with weeks of gathering donations and fundraising to buy an array of period products. Thanks to those who donated (shoutout to our PI donors!), the students were able to package 100 individual period product supply bags for any FHS community member to take. These bags will be in an FHS bathroom near you in the coming weeks.
