Fisher’s Summer Internship Experience

….I feel like a better leader, but more importantly a better team member.

I remember talking with one of my close friends last Summer about this little internship his dad made him do. He told me it’s pretty fun and told me I should sign up for the VEP with Passion Impact during the school year. Back then, Passion Impact wasn’t really the sort of thing I’d normally be interested in. However, I eventually decided to try something a little out of my comfort zone and to meet some people I probably wouldn’t talk to otherwise. I’m so happy I decided to give it a shot.

VEP was so fun, and I learned a lot. So, when summer rolled around, I decided to apply for the summer internship, the very same one my friend had done a year before. The Internship has been so cool, but more importantly I feel like I’ve learned so much.

I joined the Internship because I wanted to be better for VEP my senior year. Now, at the end of the Internship I know I’m prepared to do so. I think a big thing for me this year will be being a part of the Advertising Committee. I’m super excited to be able to help more this year, and to be a more valuable member of the VEP.

All in all, I learned a lot during this Internship, and I feel like a better leader, but more importantly a better team member. I’m so glad I signed up for VEP, and am ready for this coming year with Passion Impact.
