Current Projects

Interview Committee

Davida is leading the charge on recruiting, training, and organizing an Interview Committee. The goal is to have a pool of PI community members including staff, board, students, teachers, and partners prepared with implicit bias training to interview for new positions.

Development Coordinator

With a goal to hire a Part-Time Development Coordinator in January 2022, we are finalizing all position, promotional, and interview details to prepare a release before November 4th.

Financial Associate Work-Study

As we usher in a new growth to Passion Impact with an increase in program staff, we have found a need for financial reporting greater than ever. To support students learning this subject with mentorship from our Finance Committee, we expect to hire a Work-Study student before November 4th.

Updating the Hiring Framework

Pete created an equitable hiring framework that we have used for multiple hirings of staff and ACE students. We continue to refine it as we find ways to improve our process.

Pete Pham designed a new framework in Spring 2021 for equitable hiring practices that staff, board, and students alike can use to suggest hiring new staff, Work-Study students, or contractors to support the organizational efforts.

ACEs

Led by Davida between August and September, we received over 20 applications, interviewed 12, and accepted the top 3 students to work as ACEs for the 2021-22 PCC school year.
