Summer Internship Campaign 2022
$250 – Intern and Payroll
Supporting the Interns and High School Program Staff is the best way to ensure that students at both Franklin High School and McDaniel High School students can stay supported throughout the 6 weeks of the internship.
$100 – Food in the Office
As we open the office back up, students will be coming in for training and weekly meetings. Having food accessible is not just nice to have, but a must for these teenagers. Just think back to when you were their age!
$50 – Project Supplies
Interns will receive supplies to help them reflect, collaborate, and create their projects throughout the internship. Having these physical supplies provides students with ways to engage off screen and to remember the internship for years to come.
$20 – Required Social Justice Reading: Dark Matter
Last year students provided feedback as to the importance of the fictional social justice book “Octavia’s Brood”. To continue that theme, we have chosen Dark Matter: A Century of Speculative Fiction from the African Diaspora for students to read and reflect on for this year’s summer internship.
